Ya I am working on getting parts together for 2 xp's pretty confident one will be a 375 ruger and a 223rem fast twist set up as close as I can get it to a clone of each other. One I want for a deer stomper and the other a cheaper to shoot target pistol. I am also looking at a swivel chair with a rifle rest I can pack in half a mile to post ends of drives if need be. If anyone has used such a platform I sure would not mind hearing any pros or cons. The primary purpose of build is to get around our "slug zone" laws. One of the biggest hurdles is 95% of our deer are shot on the run. I am working with a trainer to build shoulders so I'm hoping that will help some with offhand stability. I hate tracking deer when they are running threw cattails with water standing in them hence the 375. We kick them out of one patch and they run to the next. Some of the sections will have 5 of these wet areas the farmers can't till surrounded by beans, corn, or greens. Whitetail paradise and they learn to be totally nocturnal due to road hunters and all the land being divided in 1 mile squares by roads. Hope that gives a little more insight to what and why I'm looking for.
