[QUOTE="CatShooter, post: 156206, member: 7"] [ QUOTE ] I am shooting 100g Nosler BT my crono says 3500fps give or take I am thinking that my 1/8 click would double every 100yds?? thanks for the help [/ QUOTE ] Your 400 yd click numbers don't fit a ballistic curve, or make sense, but I can still put something together for you. At each range, the "Click" value is 0.125" times the range divided by 100. This is a fancy way to say at: 100 yds, each 1/8th click is worth 0.125" (1/8th") 200 yds, each 1/8th click is worth 0..25" (1/4th") 300 yds, each 1/8th click is worth 0.375" (3/8th") 400 yds, each 1/8th click is worth 0.500" (1/2") 500 yds, each 1/8th click is worth 0.625" (5/8th") 600 yds, each 1/8th click is worth 0.750" (3/4th") 700 yds, each 1/8th click is worth 0.875" (7/8th") 800 yds, each 1/8th click is worth 1.000" (8/8ths"). While some purists will whine about whether the clicks are equal to 1 inch or 1 MOA... the difference is so moot that it is a waste of time to dwell on it, but here it is anyway. An moa is equal to 1.047" at 100 yds, so at 200 yds it is 2.094, etc. But it is moot because very few scopes are exactly 1" or 1 moa, so if you want to be that anal, you will have to check the scope out yourself, a very hard job for the non-optical en-ga-neer to do. Now to your shooting chart. This should give you a start in woodchucks. 0 clicks at 200yds 250 yds = 6 clicks 300 yds = 13 clicks 350 yds = 21 clicks 400 yds = 29 clicks 450 yds = 37 clicks 500 yds = 44 clicks 550 yds = 57 clicks 600 yds = 68 clicks Enjoy... .
