I had a Bowtech 380 for exactly 1 day and it blew up in my hand... well the shaft of the bolt shattered and I got carbon splinters in the neck and hand and the cams were broken.... took it back to the bow shop I got it from... they were to return it to Bowtech and after a couple weeks of inpatient waiting on my part(leaving for bowhunt in two days) found out that it hadn't been sent back yet, but also was told by dealer that 4 other 380's had been brought in with the same problem... said he could replace it, I chose not to...I did get credit for my money and bought an Excalibur Equinox... love it... The Bowtech 380 problem was two years ago and I never heard anymore about what caused it or if anyone else had the same issue...Excalibur is very forgiving... I dry fired it once and cringed... nothing damaged, and only had to restring it... TheMoose
