Good on you brother, great story and nice bull! I know some of what you’ve been through. I broke my neck on the job 15 years ago and after a couple-few surgeries it took a solid year of rehab to get functional and back at it. I still feel the effects from time to time. Add to that a dislocated ankle, knee, hip, shoulder (torn rotator cuff & grade 2 separation) and TBI. Now that I’ve hit that 40 mark things just hurt because they can. Airborne (or any of the cool guy stuff) is for the young man, but they don’t realize they will feel it when they’re our age. I have a few more years and I’m calling it quits. I’ll just keep training guys till then. Those who can, do. Those who can’t, teach. I love being in the mountains and wish to move out west to chase elk and mule deer one day. I am envious of those that take that for granted.
