Seating depth test completed with the 205 SBDII's. I went with a lighter charge just to use less components, make sure I don't run into pressure issues, and also check out a lower node around 2830 fps. Started at .010" off, and went out to .115" off in .015" jumps, 81.2 grains of H1000. Range was 125 yards. Here is what I found - .010" - 2829/2819 .025" - 2812/2828 .040" - 2809/2799 .055" - 2803/didn't read .070" - 2800/2817 .085" - forgot to turn on/2798 .100" - 2781/2807 .115" - 2804/2796 Groups - Seems like they shot decent at .025" off and in, and also seemed to shoot good at .085" - .100" off. Also, pressures dropped and then seemed to stabilize from .040" and further out, I have pretty consistently seen this, so I think it will be happier further off the lands, plus starting at .085" off, it just starts to fit in the magazines, as .085" jump is 3.745" OAL. So, I loaded up some rounds for groups at .100" off, these will have .020-.030" clearance in my mags, and shooting them now, will post the update this evening.....
