Well here we are a year later. I ended up spinning a new barrel on it. The criterion shot ok, but it was a bit finicky for my liking. Some days it would shoot lights out but most days it shot around .5. Shot 600 rounds or so down it and pulled it off. Called up @Jud96 at Peirce Engineering and we got a Muller Works MTU contour 7.5 twist 4 groove on order. He spun it up for me and wow what a hummer. This barrel is VERY consistent. We're 150 rounds or so down the tube and the largest group it's shot so far has been .6. This first pic is a random old I pulled out of my butt with the 109 berger based off my last 3 6 creed barrels I shot that load for a bit just to get rounds down the barrel. Since the 109s are basically gone and no clue when bergwr is going to get more out I bought 1,000 107smk on sale and started load development today. Started with a seating depth test there was no need to go much further as this was the first group I did play with some more seating depths but shorter didn't really get any better and groups were less consistent. Went .005 longer and we again got a nice tight cluster at .225 Poi is very similar to all the other groups. Ran a quick powder charge test looking for poi shifts and settled on 41.2 of h4350 with a velocity of 3046 sd of 5. I'll confirm this load tomorrow or Friday when it's warmer because it was just too cold and windy today for me to be out there that long.
