Finally after what seemed forever just kidding it was only actually 5 months. Got my rifle back from Mike at Hell’s Canyon Armory, I had him spin up one of his carbon barrels in 33 Nosler and do a few other things. And I couldn’t be happier with the way to turned out, his work is top notch and it shows. After a few days of rain everyday I was able to get out to the range and run a few through it. I loaded up a few rounds of a very mild load and 250 EH’s to break her in. After 4 sight in shots at 100 yards I moved out to 200 to finish the break in, no reason other than to put a target up for my CZ trainer 22. And thought I’ll just finish breaking it in at 200 and she didn’t disappoint for no load work up. This target is the next 8 rounds down the tube. This barrel is extremely fast so far compared to my other 33. Can’t thank Mike enough for putting this one together for me, this ones going to be an elk hammer after a little load developing. I also can’t wait until he’s done with my Tikka I’m having him do in 300wsm throated for 215’s. Build specs on my 33 are: Trued 700 Manners EH1 with bdl mini chassis 26” HCA Heavy Hunter 1:9.4 3 groove 5 port Piercision Muscle Brake HS Precision DBM bottom metal Tuned factory trigger NF Atacr 5-25x56 NF 20 MOA rail and NF rings (both bedded) Weight as pictured minus bipod #11.25
