I had to work up a new load for my 7mm because I can't find bergers. I am shooting a 160 Nosler accubond with 63.0 gr of imr 7828. I had to cut almost 100 fps off of the speed that I get from my Nosler manual to make my dope match reasonably "close " to field data. To hit spot on, I need to cut about 150 fps and drop the BC down .010. *** is going on here? My program has been right on the money for everything else. I realize that I'm now shooting a spritzer instead of a hollow point. But I refuse to believe that I'm only getting 2750 fps out of this load that should be closer to 3k!!! I turned the atmospheric condition calculator function off and ran it again and got the same results. The point of having the program and all this high tech gear is supposed to save me from having to shoot every range to get dope for that load. I'm perplexed. What a blunderf***!
