For example look a savage their rifles sold as cheap as 370$ for scoped combos at wally world and now that they have reputation for accuracy their guns are goin at on or over the 500$ range. If your in the market and want a descent rifle dont put off by low prices as good as these guns are they wont be low forever.

If you read carefully through the entire thread fully you will notice that all this thread seems to be more about a couple abusive, neglectful, dangerous gun owners/operators more than its about a failing part by a gunmaker.

[QUOTE="sciether, post: 458787, member: 29989"] I know this an older thread but I thought I'd share my expierence with this rifle, I have a mossberg 4x4 in 300 win mag and can't rave enough about what an accurate nice rifle this really is. The model I bought was this years version with the fluted barrel and ported comp. After staring for about 2 yrs years at them when the latest model came out I jumped at getting one, for 370$!!! Detachable mag, fluted barrel, ported comp, adjustable LBA trigger. Down right awesome, for the price it felt like I stole it, after putting a barrel deresonator on it and making up a 125 gr nosler handload she shoots steady 1/4-3/4" 100 yard groups. Took 4 deer with it this year and one was a 400 yard headshot 5 mins later 110 yard neck shot. Im shooting a barska 4-16x50 first focal plane tactical mildot on it, and using mildot master. For the price of my whole set-up, I can range shoot and hit confidently out 500 yards for less than the price of any long range rifle alone by any other gun maker. I honestly believe that the current state of the economy you will see alot more gun owners using these less expensive tools for hunting more often than not, though I do not see a rifle like this staying a such a cheap price for long.
