A month ago the canyon was blanketed in fairly deep snow. Most of it has melted, and there's been almost no snowfall for a month. I'm afraid we're in for a really dry summer unless something changes fast... It was a great morning for a hike! High 30's, light breeze, clear skies and the wildlife was out and moving.
