I had to have my right knee scoped over 30yrs ago, and again 5yrs later. Then 18yrs ago it was done a 3rd time. Dr. told me then to "knock off whatever your doing that keeps tearing this cartlidge." Well hell, the first time I was hiking with my wife in the hills above Reno, but 2nd and 3rd happened at work. Long story short, I'm out of "removable" cartlidge and if I tear it again it's replacement time. I'm currently in the O'neal Basin near the Jarbidge Wilderness area in N. Nevada and have been hunting for a bull for 9 days. I've walked way more than I expected, I've tweaked the knee more times than I can remember. It hurts, it's swollen and I have only seen 1 elk in those 9 days. So today we leave for home, I'll give my knee till Monday or Tuesday and if it's still swollen I'll go see the ortho surgeon again. Who knows, maybe we'll both be rehabing knee replacements at the same time! Lol Good luck with your replacement and I hope to read the story of your successful bear hunt in April! TC
