It was weird, as they updated inventory at like 2:30 am EST. Never seen that before from any vendor. By 3am the 8lb was gone. (Must have been west coasters) I immediately grabbed a jug of 570 and 565. Then posted the update here on LRH.
I really need RL26. I have plenty of primers. I could easily trade some Fed LRM Match and/or Wolf SRP primers for a jug of rl26. I have missed countless in stock alerts usually by seconds to minutes.
Still hard to believe primers are selling for $700-$750 per 5k case.
The 338 Mega LA FB because of case vol to bore ratio RL26 is dense enough that even though it should be too slow its ideal. It's 100% fill and only works best at full vol loads to pressure up properly.
My 21.5" barrel 338 Mega with RL26 can achieve the same vel as a 26" barrel with N550. 250EOL 2950fps node, pressure @ 3050.
