[QUOTE="Hired Gun, post: 393990, member: 1290"] The reason I asked is the factory trigger will go right down that low consistant and reliable as can be. I set all mine at 15 ounces. To go lighter than 6 ounces would require a different trigger. I only have the use of one hand and I can set one up in about 20 minutes. I deal all of them but never sell them for Mark 5's. No need to throw money away on a lessor trigger. If you follow the NRA basic 3 safety rules you can safely hunt with a 2 ounce trigger. I don't recommend it but it could be done. I know a guy that does hunt with his Mark 5 set at 6 ounces. I have also seen him shoot deer offhand at 400 yards with that 257wby. He says he just thinks dead and it happens. Not for me. 15 ounces is just right for me. I have a 2 pound 40X trigger and it's going to go in the drawer here real soon. 1. Always keep you gun pointed in a safe direction. 2. Always keep your finger off the trigger. 3. Always keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.
