I think you are right to be upset. I have ordered, and have had friends order, several stocks from Manners and they have been pretty good. I have had a few hiccups but everything has worked out. To address some of the other replies. The shooting industry time lines are not out of line with other industries. If you want a production gun go to Walmart, Cabela's, or Gunbroker and get your rifle the McDonald's way. Bad customer service is not ok but you do not have a lot of choices when you need something that will perform. In some businesses when supply is this strong it makes sense to ramp up production but then you end up with the same product you get at Cabela's. Some of the machines used to build the best shooting products available today are far too expensive to purchase more of just to meet a tighter production time. I would suspect there is not a lot of help out there to meet the quality of workmanship we are paying for. The shooting sports are no different than anything else in life. If you want the best you are going to pay and/or wait. HS stocks are not even close to a McMillan or Manners. Everyone has there preferences and our capitalistic society supports that. I will continue to order from Manners.
