No kidding. I've heard form other members your pretty loyal to Leupold and that you refuse to believe that people can have issues. I'm not new to this. I have been into long range rifles since I was 14 years old and at one time worked and was pretty involved in the firearms industry. I know how to torque things and build a rifle. I also reload and am super careful and very dedicated to precision. If it was something I did I would have admitted it. Unlike a guy I don't have some macho ego I've got to defend. You don't make it in my profession without being OCD about everything, therefore that thoroughness transfers into everything I do in my life. As far as a tracking test goes seen as you're dying to know. It didn't pass. It consistently failed RTZ L to R. It didn't fail miserably but it was enough I left my 28 Nosler at the truck and took my 300 wsn backup rifle instead. I have been a member on here since I was a junior in high school(12 years) and people with poor attitudes like yours pretty much didn't used to make it long on here. The way you acted yesterday and continue to antagonize others like JGS definitely speaks poorly of your character. As far as leupold having a "100 years of Quality" They haven't. There have been times not too far in the distant past that they had issues... A casual stroll through this forum and other forums are evidence of that. In fact there was a time those of us in the firearms industry knew that Leupold was having issues and we didn't run those optics even though we got a really good industry discount from leupold and knew their customer service was very very good. It wasn't because we disliked leupold, it was just the risk wasn't worth it. You can continue to try and make me the bad guy but your true colors have already outed you. Your the one whose hell bent on making this a bashing thread. I simply said my VX6HD failed and was looking for a different option. Have a good day.
