I'm looking for a 7saum modified case to get coal measurements.

Please PM me if you have one you are willing to sell.

Just do the loctite trick. You can make a dummy round by using red loctite in the case neck of a fired case and then close the bolt on it. You'll have a dummy round with the bullet touching the lands.

If you have a dremmel or a way to secure up the brass with a small saw you can also cut vertically down a smidge past the shoulder of an upright positioned case and adjust the tension to hold the bullet snug...but not too snug and chamber the bullet seated in the brass and measure carefully from there. Thats what I did and it worked out pretty good until I found a modified case.

You can also send hornady 2-3 fired cases from your rifle and they will drill and tap one and send it back to you. I think they charge 10-15 bucks but its a truly perfect fit to your rifles chamber
