SW282 - Howdy ! NE Indiana groundhogs: This Indiana farm boy lived in the Maumee River valley of NE Allen county for 55yr. Pancake flat, and could see unobstructed to the horizon many spots within 1mi of the farm. I shot " Soybeanus Digestus ", much as I was able. Shooting my wildcat .22-35 Remington: Went from using a 2.5 - 8 X B & L first in the 1975...... to a 12X Leupold..... added a 24X Leupold for field trials......... moved on to a 16X Leupold which worked well for me for many years...... upgraded next to a 6.5 X 20X Leupold Vari X III which stayed in-use for even longer....... then on to a brief stint w/ a B & L 32X.... swapped out for a 2X-boosted T36, which works out optically to something like 52X. That scope is now currently mounted to my target/varmint rifle chambered in my " DEEP 6 " wildcat ( case capacity 51.2gr H2O). Never once said.... " Gee, this is TOO MUCH scope " ! For engagements out to 1,000yd I could keep using a 1" tube. Still...... Once I can finally afford it, I intend to get me one of them 30mm monster ELR scopes; 'cause...... you never know . Hehh.....hehh.....hehhh !! With regard,, 357Mag
