I haven't got back to the Grendel much yet, but I'm just about to start playing with it again. I ran out of time with hunting season approaching, so I worked up a quick load with a new bullet and new powder, that shot good and went to load more and realized I have a major issue with neck tension......None of my Grendel brass has been annealed and the Hornady dies I have over size the **** out of it, so I was getting real inconsistent results, but with new brass it shot really good. I loaded up a box of once fired for hunting and they were shooting about 5/8" at 100 yards. My kids used them for their deer this year, and a couple weeks ago we had a cold snap down in the 20's which is pretty cold for here, so I shot the last five in a group to see how they did in the cold (Load development was done in the 90's) They went into a ragged hole about 1/2" so I was pretty fired up. Next up is to go back and load using the same bullet and powder combo as before and do a comparison. I'm hoping that I can get some loads made up and take advantage of some nice Spring days to go out and test it......... Sorry kind of a long response to say that I haven't done any more on it!
