[QUOTE="Wedgy, post: 2863463, member: 64108"] Yes, hands down the Kowa is better than the Razor. In between the 2 is the Nikon ED50 Fieldscope with the 13-40x eyepiece, not the standard 13-30x that it usually comes with. I ran the Nikon for many years but picked up the Kowa recently and it has a slight edge in clarity and brightness at dusk(very close but the TSN has a 5mm larger objective so I would expect it to be brighter) over the Nikon, but the Nikon has a much bigger field of view so there is a trade off. The Kowa is 29oz and the vs 17oz. If I had to do it over again I would stick to the Nikon as the Kowa is not $1,000 better. For comparison I have a Swaro 65mm, Meopta S2, and Kowa TSN 883 and am kind of a glass snob. If money is not an object I would choose the new Swaro Swarovski ATC 17-40x56mm.... I would really like to get my hands on one of these !
