So this has been a long journey but it’s back in my hands again. I bought this Kenny Jarrett built 280 Ackley a couple years ago from a local pawn shop for cheap. They didn’t know what they had, it just looked at another custom 700 to them. After research I found out that this Jarrett is number 99 of the 100 “Classic” model rifles he built in 1989. After I had it for a few months I contacted Jarrett about restoring it for me, they said send it in and they go through it and give me quote on it, after they contacted me of coarse I said let’s go for it. Lol. Well after 16 months it’s back. To bring it back to it’s former glory it got a full face lift including: new barrel and brake fresh paint on the stock and rebedded Bolt fluted All metal stripped and recoated Swarovski Z5 Bedded Talley mount Talley rings Basically it’s a completely new Jarrett build. I also added one of @livetohunt Acra/Pic rails. These are very well build rails. And yes I need to mow the yard. Lol.
