Minox might have slightly better glass, it is very hard for me to tell, even shooting them side by side. One of my main varmint shooting buddies has a Minox, and they are very nice. However, I also remember the time a few years ago when he put it on a new custom rifle getting ready to leave on a week-long trip and we were sighting it in. I had helped him mount it in Burris Signature rings so I knew he had not turned the screws too tight or had misalignment problem. And yet, no matter where you turned the elevation turret the rifle still shot to the exact same place. You could not see anything wrong but the turret was obviously broken. He sent it to Minox and they fixed it, but I prefer scopes that don't break. I couldn't help but think, "Dang, what would have happened if this scope had waited another 50 shots to break, after we had flown to the Dakotas?" I have a bunch of NF's and none has ever broken. I know dozens of guys with multiple NF's and they all say the same thing. Occasionally someone will tell me their NF "does not track straight," but invariably it was because they did not know how to mount their scope true to the bore. I am fully aware of the alleged tracking problems with the Competition, but neither of mine has ever failed to track perfectly, and I see a lot of other ones at F-Class matches and none of those guys have any complaints, either, so I'm not going to listen to what some so-called scope tester says. I also have faith that if I did get a bad scope NF would fix it.
