Great title, and thanks for the great story too. I got a good ''giggle'' out of that one. P/Oed P-D's. Thats one I wouldve loved to have seen.:D I gotta try shootin Prarrie dogs some day. We dont have any here in Oregon, but great storys like yours make me want to give it a try every time I here them. My Dad came to visit me for a couple days, and we shot Sage Rats all day with our .22's today. We had a blast. He challenged me to open sights only, your choice of .22 rifle. He chose his Henery lever with an octogon bbl, and I chose my ol' Winchester 67 single shot. and we burnned thru a brick and a half of shells today with those slow plinkers. We launched them out to around 200yds +/-. What a blast! We couldve stacked em like cord wood with our scoped custom 10/22's, but the whole back to your roots, iron sights shootin' was something I hadnt done in a LONG time. I could hardly belive we were as accurate as we were with Iron sights and ''Kentucky windage'' at that distance. What a riot. Dontcha just love a good .22 They realy do remind you ''How to giggle like a little boy''.
