It was 3 wks yesterday that hornady emailed me and said they were going to test the ammo I sent back. I hadnt heard from them so I emailed them and ask what was going on. Today I recieved a phone call. They said they suspected the problem was case associated. But they went a head and pressure checked the ammo and it was ok. So next they ck the cases. They said when the ammo is fired and the case expands to the size of the chamber its supose to shrink .001" to allow the case to be ejected. The cases are not shrinking after cooling therfore they are sticking when you try to eject. He said this was a on going problem with custom line of ammo and they are workin on it. They are sending me 2 boxes of superformance GMX 270 win and said the brass was of better quality and this problem shouldnt re occur. The custom ammo is there lowest line of ammo they make and uses cheaper brass than the other lines. If anyone else is having the same problem contact hornady they are slow but they should replace your ammo.
