Bret2368: What is "Roundtoit".??? Also see a lot of different Posts on the 6.5X284 as "Norma" We design our Reamers off of the 284 Winchester to be necked to 6.5MM. This is called a "Wildcat Version". Opposed to the 6.5X284 Norma which was a Standardized Cartridge by CIP (Commission internationale permanente pour l'épreuve des armes à feu portatives Our 6.5X285 Winchester REAMER has been designed by me for the Neck size and the throat to the length of the size bullets we want. So it would be considered a Wildcat to SAAMI . Tighter necks and longer throat. would like to use in LS Actions and big box feders. The parent case .284 Winchester SAAMI was created around 1963, but did not see extensive commercial use.
