[QUOTE="jvstoro, post: 787615, member: 66161"] Thought I would share a few pics from a hunt which took place in mid February this year. The weather was light snow with -12 degrees Celcius (10 F). Winds were 12 km/hr (7 miles/hr) from the North West . I was approaching from the East to my stand. Simply hidden amongst a cedar fence line. My rifle was a .223 savage XP with a 3-9 X40 mm scope. I sat about 100 yards from the bait. I was using a electronic caller using a pups yelp. No response. Approximately 20 minutes later, at 07:15 hrs, I changed to a Cotton Tail distress call, and had 4 wolfs coming running out of the Cedar bush at 150 yards away at my 5 o'clock position. Took the shot! She weighed about 80 lbs and measured 5'10" hanging. That evening, while skinning her, I could hear the pack howling all around us. I think she was a dominant female and her pack was looking for her.
