I recently picked up a used Leupold VX-5 and mounted it on a Tikka CTR in 260 Rem. I’ve been extremely happy with it! Glass is better, in my opinion, than a buddy’s (older) Swaro Z5. The eye relief is awesome and every time I pick up the rifle and look through the scope, I’m surprised at how good the image is. The picture just seems to “pop”. CDS turrets and ZL-2 zero lock are pretty sweet, although I’m still working on load development before committing to the custom dial. Only downside is the scope I have has the Firedot reticle. Not a bad thing necessarily, but I’d prefer one with a Impact 29 reticle to have a “BDC/milling” reticle. Definitley recommend you take a look at these scopes, or the VX-6 line if you can.
