Yeah, that's something I've slowly come to the conclusion of as well over the years. Although this will be my first suppressor. I try to be fairly conscientious about my hearing, more so after I hit about 30. I plug up while on stand during deer drives almost every time, even though not shooting big calibers. I do a groundhog tournament every summer, and have started passing on shots I can't plug up before, even though I'm using small centerfire rifles... Through this I have learned that I shoot WAY better when I have hearing protection in. My dad to this day says he never hears the shot when hunting or feels recoil (maybe because he can't hear much anymore 😂). I've really only experienced that a couple times... I always anticipate my ears ringing or recoil. When I'm prepared with hearing protection it's unreal how much smoother my shot is. I have kids now and they won't be hunting without a suppressor. That's a ways off, but starting my stamp collection now. Good a reason as any 😂☺️
