It just so happens that the company who has McMillan do all of their dipping is local to me. McMillan has done this ATACS pattern on some of their stocks, but it is not as common as others.

hows the recoil on it?

It is that of a 12 ga shotgun, if that. Every time I shoot it I am surprised at how low the recoil is for the caliber. The muzzle break has done wonders for this gun.
