Cooper Timberline 300 win mag

I have a Cooper timberline 300 win mag, looking for information on a good hunting load for it. I removed the break off the gun. I have only shoot factory ammo out of it. Now with the break off it does not shoot well at all. Looking for some help to start reloading on what powder and what bullet someone has had good success with. The gun is for hunting Elk and Deer. I did reload years ago so I have all the stuff to reload with.

Welcome to the forum! A favorite powder for the 300 Win Mag is H1000. I use a 200 gr Nosler Accubond and H1000 for my hunting 300 WM.

I don't know if this will help you friend. I have a Cooper M 92, 300 WM. I load H4350 72.8 gr, Barnes 175 LRX, DDI 250, length 2.891, my chrono show about 3200fps but I have my doughts that is right. Good Luck
