Shortgrass, Can you elaborate on the once fired brass you talk to customers about? I understand chambers are all different, and thus most won't fit in another chamber even after sizing, but if that is not what you meant please elaborate.
So the gunsmith checked headspace and stated it was not as tight as he would have liked but it was not out of spec. He didn't mention anything about lug setback. I am not familiar with it signs of it. I do understand what it is in theory based on the name. Please elaborate on the "signs and symptoms" of it (how can I the laymen check for it, or can I)?
As originally posted, I am possibly looking to re-chamber and was looking at different options.
