As a former Gun shop owner and Gunsmith, the rough chamber could have been made with, a "roughing reamer" or, a an un-sharpened/ damaged finish reamer ! It DOESN'T matter !!! Send the Rifle back with, the bad cases IMMEDIATELY and don't expect, a refund as, ALL Guns, are Registered, to the new owner and this Rifle becomes USED, to CA, aka, hard to re-sell and they would take, a LOSS ! My "best guess" is that, the Barrel needs to be "set back" a little and re-reamed with, a GOOD finish reamer and then test fired with, the Brass to show you, it's now,.."good" ! Be as nice as possible but, a little "squeeky", to the highest possible "owner" available ! THEN,.. start working on Moose Killer Loads for, your other Rifle just in case, the CA Rifle doesn't make it back in time! Remember just punch a 1/2 inch Hole, thru their Lungs with a good EXPANDING Bullet and,.. dead Bull ( shoot twice, if nec) ! We kill the smaller Shira's Moose and lge Elk with,.. sharp BH Arrows, thru the lungs and they usually, don't go far! Get the second rifle,. shootin',.. SOON ! Good Luck !
