Hoping I can get some input from the fellows on he re. I have a Cabelas Alaskan aluminum frame and harness. And am planing on going on a caribou hunt in Alaska this year. We will be doing the 5 mile hike in, necessary if rifle hunting. I will need to bring my sleeping bag, sleeping mat, food, rifle, clothing, etc. For a 3-4 day hunt. We will be splitting up the tent, stove, fuel, etc. Between 4 people. I am looking into getting some advice on what kind of pack someone would recommend for a backpack hunt. Something that will be strapped onto an aluminum frame. It doesn't need to have an internal frame, or if that works better let me know. We will be going the first week of September, north of the Brooks Range. Also, if anyone has done this hunt and have any advice please don't be shy and share. Thanks.:)
