You are right, it is getting beyond out of control, and any form of reason what some states and the government are trying to do. Illinois is about to come up with something about as bad as California from what I've read, I can't find a link to all of what they want but I will post it if I find it. Something else interesting on homicides in New York where they went ballistic over "assault rifles" is the fact that out of 769 homicides, hammers, clubs, knives and fist or hands accounted for more than rifles or shot guns. Only 5 out of the 769 or .007% were with a AR type rifle. You would think there were thousands by the way they talk and act. All this is just a way to start taking our guns from us plain and simple!!! Many in New York say they will never do the manditory registration The banning of "assault ammo" or hollow points is a phrase they use to scare the public with like scary one about "the assault rifles with the pistol grip that makes them more deadly", they are "extremely powerful" and have no use except for war. The AR's the public buys do not meet the discription of assault rifles for our military. Only in the mind of the media who come up with the phrase back under Bill Clinton or sooner so they could have a excuse to ban them. I'm sorry for the way the post came out, I had problems trying to paste the article and had no idea it copied so many times.
