Many people of bygone eras or "oldschool" way of thinking believed that the drift occured because the bullet was "rolling on air". Modern test have proven this wrong and the drift is caused by the bullet's nose being slightly above the trajectory curve causing the "yaw of repose" which steers the bullet to the right from a right hand twist as you mentioned so perfectly. In short, the air pressure differences caused by a rotating or spinning object give a bullet a push to the nose on the left side. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif</p><p>Very well put.</p></blockquote><p></p>
