Jon, I feel da luv man :) My niave optimism is based on Steve's testing :) http://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/f19/gs-bullet-antelope-hunting-47760/ http://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/f19/gs-bullet-range-report-46880/ http://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/f19/drops-matched-advertised-bcs-47318/ It looks like Gerard has tweeked the bullets a little. There's a good pic of the old vs new. Did you ever test any of Noel's bullets? Edit: The 210 Berger with an MV of 3150 @ 5000' elevation gets to about 1140 yds with 1800 fps vel - the GS 177 gets to about 1560 yds with 1600 fps V, which is it's expansion velocity. At 1500 yds it's velocity is 1660 fps with a KE of 1080 and an momentum of 42. It beats the Berger in in wind drift by about 12% through out. 3500 should be easy to get with the GS 177 in the RUM with H1000 and possibly 3550. With RL 17, I think I can get close to 3600, mabe a touch more.
