There is nothing you can do for the machine marks under the surface.</p><p></p><p>Also, don't get hung up on the copper that might accumulate. Only the accuracy matters...</p><p></p><p>I believe that the brass used for firelapping should not be used regularly due to the imbedding of grit in the necks.
