Ok Guys, Now, it has been made clear in another post that figures lie and liars figure. This in reference to my liking statistics and mathematical proof of a particular items importance. I am assured that people don't want to waste thier hard earned money. Yet, when I say this thing is useless, everyone chimes in to tell me that it's a necessity for long range shooting. No Phil, 6 degrees is a very slight error. No guys, 6 degrees is a mile! I have included below, a drawing from AutoCAD showing 3 reticles. 1 shows a 6 deg cant to the right, the other shows it to the left. The Third, shows 15 equal parts of a 90 deg area in a circle so you can see that I have not exaggerated the other 2 which are REALLY 6 degrees. Now, Please go print this picture, then hang it on the wall. Get your 22LR with a low power scope that you can see this from inside your house and hold offhand, prone, benched, rested, whatever. Aim at the upper reticle and hold your gun that far off. Now, aim at the lower one and cant THAT far off the other way. NOW! Please tell me how in Gods name you could possibly hold a gun THAT FAR OFF FROM LEVEL, SHOT TO SHOT! IF you hold that far DIFFERENT from shot 1 to shot 2 you will cause 4" of error at 500 yards as specified above and in the product info. Now, if you cannot see that, you have no business shooting at game past arms reach, and probably should not be allowed to handle a firearm, much less own one. Repeat after me. Can you say, MEANINGLESS!
