i dont like the way it sticks out to the side and prefer the one that mounts to the scope tube. getting that level with the crosshairs is easy with a plumb, however, leveling the scope then to the gun is a little different, and i, like most, used a regular level and did the best i could. however, after looking at this one, i happened to think i could mount this to the gun to level the gun, and while leveled, adjust the scope bubble to be level as well making sure all were aligned, then simply removing this bubble and using the one on the scope tube. because i'm only attaching it to level the gun with the scope, then taking it off, i'd only need one, and could level an unlimited number of guns this way. does that make sense to anyone? -brian
