.270 notes Base load Nosler 140 gn Ballistic Tip Remington brass IMR 4350, 48.5 gn Coal 3.340 Federal large rifle match primer Barrel twist 1:10 I rarely use Remington brass, but I had some around. I wasn’t going to load for it, but just keep it as a memory as my dad’s deer rifle. I bought some cheap Remington Core locts to just prove it wasnt worth loading for and it shot .800! So I did some load development and got it down to .430 at 100. I’m sure with good brass, better match bullets and playing around with different powders, I could dial this down a bit more, but I’ll take sub .500 for a grandkid hunting rifle.
