My only regret is that it was so cold I didn’t want to take my gloves off otherwise I would have gotten more pictures with my phone. The one sunset I had to stop because my fingers wouldn’t work the touch screen anymore, I was tapping but nothing was happening. Also I forgot to mention a couple things, .338 Win Mag Precision Hunter ammo will kill bison at 150 yards but the penetration is not great and the bullets completely come apart according to the other guide. During our afternoon shoot the 6.5 Creedmoor had 8 to 10 moa of windage at 1000 yards with my 147gr handloads and 140gr American Gunner respectively. My .300 Win Mag had only 4 moa out to 1000 and 15 MOA of windage out to 1 mile shooting the 181 HH at 3260 fps. 3500 feet of elevation kicks your butt when you are used to living at 150 feet. Those Sandhills don’t look big but on the one stalk we climbed 250ft of elevation trying to out run the Buffalo and they are way faster than me when they walk.
