I have the sig 2000 as well. Started looking last Memorial Day for something else after it would not range coyotes past 500 yards in a no till wheat field. Ended up finding the Leica hdb 2200’s on sale, after loading my custom ballistic curve and taking game from 100-530 this fall/winter very happy I made the switch. Ranged trees and rock face in full sun to 2250, deer to 1400 and elk to 1930. Deer were in full sun. I could not range a white ipsca target in full sun at 1550, but could hit green grass patch next to it and trees at 1900 past it. In rainy fog would range the full 150 yards that I would shoot on a 4” wood fence post, haven’t had the opportunity to range further in adverse conditions. Very pleased to combine two tools and upgrade from my sig and leupold binos at the same time. Still have them as backups or for my son to use. My limited experience from being in a somewhat similar boat about a year ago. No regrets.
