*UPDATE* So I made whipped up some of the 200gr hornady eld-x with the 748 powder at 37.4gr which was the suggested starting grain. I also needed to break in my barrel as this is a rifle I just finished building so I figured if I use a bunch of powder I’d use the 748 that I have a lot of and am on the fence about. So after sending about 15 rounds through it my best 3 shot group was .383. I also loaded some with H4350 at 43gr, which was the suggested start. When reloading I became nervous after seeing how full the case was, like i could hear what sounded like the powder being crushed when seating the bullet. So I did not make very many. My best 3 shot group was .672. NOTE: I have a 20in proof research carbon barrel that is 1:10 twist on a savage 10 action. My shots where taken at 100yards off bags.
