I am testing them also in a 338 Ultra mag. I started out .050 off the lands because that is where my 225 TTSX's shot 5/8 inch at 300 yds. So far my best group is 3 shots in 1 inch at 300 yds. with 90 gr IMR 7828 and fed mag primers at 3015 fps. I talked with Michelle G. today to try and find a starting point for seating depth because these are different than the VLD's. And if I do a bunch of seating depth's I will not have enough bullets to test these out at farther distances. She said she would talk to Eric and find out where they were seating the 300 gr hybrids and get back to me. I will let you know what she said. When I tested these on monday the wind was blowing from 6 to 10 mph and these bullets were shooting good. If I can get these to shoot better than they WILL be my go to bullet for long range hunting. I will post my loads and results after I shoot my next test loads. Tarey
