Hi all, I know I like being able to find this info listed, want to do my part to help people.

There is conflicting info out there about twist rate, this one is a 2018 at 1:9.5, they tightened it to 1:9 for 2019 models. If it's on the rack at the gun store it's worth checking to see what it is.

New Bergara Ridge 7mm RM, my old Minox ZX5 2-10 x 50, 30mm tube.

Leupold Backcountry 20 MOA rail
Leupold Backcountry medium rings

I could have easily done Lows and still cleared my objective, but the way I like to run The cap on my ocular lens bolt clearance was the limiting factor. Slimmer cap or no cap on the ocular would have made low rings work.

Magazine length is plenty for loading long, I didn't have a caliper handy but there's probably .3" of room with factory Hornady Precision Hunter 162's. Have not measured throat.

Gonna try to do break in today to tomorrow, will update with how that goes.

well how did it go? I'm still about half way through breaking mine in with test loads. showing promise thus far. (ridge in 7rm, viper HST, 162 gr. ELD-X over H-1000). Grip ergonomics I'm finding don't fit me so I have an HS on the way to try out. But anyway, what's the update on yours? :)

I got pretty good groups out of the factory Hornady Precision Hunter 162's (5/8 - 7/8 moa groups at 100, then 2 hits at 400, 2 at 525, and 2 at 755 on 1.5 -2 moa targets just using published mv). I picked up some Nosler factory ammo (for the quality brass as much as anything) and only got 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 moa out of the 150 BT and 168 ABLR.

Cleans up easy, with about 60 rounds down the pipe. Overall very happy with it for the price.

nice, glad to hear! in anticipation of using the 7mmRM for a long time I invested in 100 pieces of bulk hornady brass. tolerances were very good from factory. went ahead with neck turning, primer pocket/flashhole work etc. when done 60 were same weight, all rest within .3 grains. some thrown together 160 gr SBTs shot 1-1.25" out of MIXED brass. My hornady 162 eld load with the worked up hornady brass all shoots .4-.75 so far with 4 powder charges still to test
