If you are going to get a high dollar bipod I'd look hard at this. The thing I like most about this one is I can run the legs way off set from the barrel to control torque. I have not seen that with anything else on the market. I have just sent another atlas off with another rifle this week. I've found the same as others with vertical which I figured out if I run my sling and skip a rear bag I'm seeing no change in impact. They work as far as the pan and tilt but I cannot seem to want them with a passion I still have the same Harris I originally bought on my 308. It has been on every rifle I use often. I bought it around 1993 Now I often bring a tripod with a saddle. At some point, I'll upgrade that to a ball mount but not for a while unless they become less expensive.
