I'm by no means a paranoid, or one to buy into conspiracy theories but a chilling thought crossed my mind as I read through these posts. I asked myself the question, "Why is this happening?'. With the exception of WW2, there had never been an ammo shortage, and certainly we have always been able to get 22 ammo. The prices have been stable for my 63 years of life. I do know that I don't buy the BS reasons given for the shortages. We don't really know the reasons. What we do know for fact is that our Attorney General of the US is committed to making gun ownership an oddity of the past. We know for a fact that they cut back room deals with industries like the Pharmaceutical business to force Obama Care through. The government is the biggest customer of the ammo industry. The progressives have flatly stated that if they can't win by the will of the people they will win by controlling the supply and demand subversively through economices. They have stated flatly that they have to begin with the youth. By the way, every kids first gun is a 22. How many 13 year olds can buy a brick of 22's for $100. How many parents are buying their kid a video game instead of a their first rifle due to cost and ammo supply? We know for a fact that the primary tool of the progressives is to divide, and turn one group against another. Every one is pretty ****ed off at the dealers and the ammo industry. They also know that the gun owners of this country, while passionate about their guns, are generally not organized to fight as to leverage their mass of 60 million strong. Less than 5% are even members of the NRA or similar lobby group. Finallly, we know for an absolute fact that anyone who suggests what I have just stated above is denigrated and labeled an extreme conspiracy nut and minimized. After what I have observed over the last 5 years in this country, I think anything is possible. Maybe all of us gun owners are being a bunch of chumps and letting ourselves be manipulated.
