I have a NSX 5.5x22 on my Edge. It crapped out on me this year in Wyoming during a backcountry deer hunt. I missed a nice 28 inch heavy horned muley at 951 yards. I had found that the scope had shifted point of impact 7 inches to the right and a inch low at 100yards!!!! I sent the scope back to Nightforce to have them check it out. They told me the worst scope that the had seen returned to them was only off by 1 moa at a 100 yards. They still gave it their 72 point check as they do with all returns. When I got the scope back I had to call them and find out what was wrong with the scope as there was no info with the scope upon its' return. I was told that they had found a defect in the bonding agent that is used to seal the locking ring for the objective lens. They had found a void in the agent. This would cause the point of impact shift due to the expansion and contraction that comes with the change in the temprature. Iwas somewhat releived to find out that it wasn't me but the scope but very disappointed that it was the scope. I had total confidence in this scope /gun combo. All my confidence with this scope just went down the drain. I will always have doubt in the back of my mind now.
