I load for my brother's 28" barreled Sako 7mm STW.. I get excellent accuracy with necked down Bertam 8 mag brass and 140 accubonds with 83 gr of H1000. Chrono avg. for 5 shots was 3415. I also have a wildcat 7mm based on the 8x68. It has 90 grains of water capacity to the base of the neck, and gets 3114 for 5 shots with Speer Grand Slam 175s using 85 gr of LRT from a 25" barrel.(shortened Remington factory 7mag barrel) My last 5 shut zeroing group at 200 meters comes out to about ,626 MOA. Brass is expensive for these big boomers and I don't push pressures as I want to reload my cases lots of times.
