I use 75grs. H1000, a CCI LR BR primer (no, not a magnum primer), WW Ni plate brass (culled by weight along with bullets), cases trimmed to 2.610 +/- .0005, chamfered, neck turned, and the COAL set to 3.553" +/- .0005 (about .002 off the lands in my rifle.) The action is a Howa 1500 and the only work done on it was a trigger adjustment that I did. No blueprinting or trueing has been done. The rifle still sports a 24" factory bbl (1:10" twist). The action and bbl are bedded in a factory Weatherby walnut stock and looks sweet. As is, this rifle prints .75 - .59 MOA groups easily. I can only imagine how nicely it will perform after putting on a Pac-Nor SuperMatch bbl and trueing the action! Point being with all the details is that, in my opinion, the 300WM is one mighty fine long-range cartridge and it is very easy to load for. My 300 will be my primary hunting rifle this coming season hands down! Best of luck to you!

TH

[ 02-17-2004: Message edited by: Austin ]

[ 02-17-2004: Message edited by: Austin ]
If I may pipe in with a tertiary response, the H1000 works GREAT with the 200gr SMK in my rifle though I have used it minimally with the 190's as I can't get these to shoot very well out of my rifle. 75 grains seems to be the most consistent load. TH [ 02-17-2004: Message edited by: Austin ] [ 02-17-2004: Message edited by: Austin ]
