To be honest, I should probably omitted myself from this topic because scopes I owned were the first generation. My scopes out of the box felt cheap and heavy. If i remember right, seemed like they weighed 4oz more than advertised. Glass was average. Turrent knobs seemed tall and clicks felt mushy. Paralax adjustment was aweful. If i remember right, no zero stop on early model. One tracked perfectly the other didnt. With that said, new models may be greatly upgraded and worth a look for the price. The early models left a bad taste in my mouth and I learned to stick to NF or S&B and have never given the new model a look. The G3 reticle has .5 mil hash marks. I feel reticle should have .2 hash marks making scope more useful at longer ranges. I dont get the one .25 hash between 1 and 1.5 mils. Just another thing about the scope that one would see on a $800 scope.
